The Lifestyle Lift has become very popular over the past few years and I have had several patients ask me about it. I love that more and more surgeons are performing facelifts under local anesthesia. Remember, local anesthesia is all that is needed. I have been doing my Tuliplifts under local anesthesia since 2000.
One of the things that sets the Tuliplift apart is that the area under the neck is also addressed. Excess skin and fat is removed and the neck muscle (Platysma) tightened...
Volume replacement with Autologous fat (your own fat harvested from the neck or abdomen) is another big difference between Tuliplift and the Lifestyle lift. I feel that al lot of the sagging comes from the fat "falling" into the jowl and neck area. Gravity will continue to take its toll but we can reverse some of this volume loss by re-positioning the fat.
You get a lot more with the Tuliplift: The scars in front of the ear are lasered 2-3 weeks later to minize their appearence. A chemical peel (Jessner or 20 percent TCA) is also performed around the mouth and eyes to reduce the appearence of fine lines.
Lymphatic drainage and Oxygen therapy on day 10 and 14 and 21 are also included in the package. This helps healing and ensures a close follow up by my staff and I.
I hope this was helpful.

Is the Tulip Facelift the same as the Lifestyle Facelift?
